KMEA Solo and Ensemble '17
GCHS band members hit all the right notes to earn top distinguished ratings in a variety of events during the Kentucky Music Educators (KEMA) Solo and Ensemble weekend. Several musicians earned honors in multiple categories, along with a chair in the state KMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival to be held at the University of Louisville.

These students received the highest rating possible in their respective categories:

These students were selected to participate in the state KMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival at the University of Louisville. To be eligible for state, students must receive a distinguished rating on their solo or ensemble at the district level.
