GCHS history teacher Brent Weedman has been selected the Kentucky high school nominee for the national Harris History Teacher Award by the Kentucky Historical Society. Of the 57 nominees nationwide, two national winners wll be announced on National History Day, June 14.

GCHS junior Cameron Harris will participate in the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in Vocal Music.  Violinist Austin Clark has been selected as an alternate in Instrumental Music.
