Welcome to Grayson County Technology Center

Thank you for visiting our webpage. The Grayson County Technology Center provides opportunities in career and technical education for Grayson County High School students in grades 9-12. Our programs and career pathways help to prepare students for a variety of careers and post-secondary education programs. GCTC has provided technical, academic, and career training to Grayson County students since it first opened in 1977, and our faculty strives to stay current in their CTE fields of study. Our teachers work hard to provide our students with the very best learning opportunities possible.

I am excited to serve as principal at the Grayson County Tech Center. As a 1984 graduate of GCHS, I am very proud of the school, the staff, and especially the students who leave here ready to make a positive impact in their chosen career, on the local workforce of our community and beyond. After serving as a teacher at GCHS and as principal at Grayson County Middle School, I look forward to working with the students and staff of the Grayson County Technology Center to continue the tradition of excellence in career and technical education. Please contact me if I can ever be of help to you!

Thank you,

Jim Blain, Principal of the Grayson County Technology Center
