Informational letters went home today regarding student participation during the Aug. 21st Solar Eclipse. ALL students will receive protective eye wear, however if you DO NOT want your child to participate in the viewing please sign the letter and return. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher. Attached is a copy of the letter.
My Payment Plus (online meal payment) is not communicating balances with our Horizon software in our cafeteria due to technical difficulties. (We have migrate a server to resolve the issue.) If you wish for your child to purchase extra or a la carte items, please send money to school with your child temporarily. Food Service is working to get the issue resolved.

Remember Caneyville Preschool will have its Back To School Event on August 10th from 9:00am - 10:30am. Caneyville Elementary wants to thank Mrs. Brenda Royalty for the years she served our school as counselor. We wish her a HAPPY RETIREMENT. We are also pleased to announce that Mrs. Billie Wieland will be leaving 4th to share the love she has had for all her students with the rest of our student body. Here is a message from Mrs. Wieland, our new school counselor...For the last 16 years, I have loved teaching and being part of the family atmosphere at Caneyville Elementary.
