Caneyville Elementary

Dr. Bryce Meredith was our February, Profile of a Graduate Guest.  Dr. Meredith spoke on being Personally Empowered and gave students four pieces of advice.  One, work hard every day!  One of Dr. Meredith’s favorite quotes is “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”  Two, be kind to others! He said to treat your classmates like your teammates. Do something kind for them, for your teacher, your principal, your family.  Three, be excited! Being in Sports Medicine, Dr. Meredith sees many teams, and he has noticed that the teams, who are excited, tend to succeed more.  Finally, remember where you came from.  Dr. Meredith did not go to Caneyville, but he told the students to be proud to be a Caneyville Purple Flash, and when you are older, like he is, be proud to be a Grayson Co. Cougar!  \r\n
