In October, Trevor Ray from Midway Pharmacy came and spoke to the students, faculty and staff here at Caneyville. Mr. Ray, a Caneyville alum, spoke on how working hard helped him earn his doctorate and become a pharmacist. He said that you don't always have to be the smartest if you're willing to work hard. If you are willing to work hard you can accomplish anything. Mr. Ray also spoke on being a good citizen by using manners, being polite and being kind.
Before finishing Mr. Ray spoke specifically to the adults. He encouraged the adults in the room to show love and kindness to the students because you never know if you're the only one that shows love to them.
