GCMS welcomed back Cougar alum Rep Samara Heavrin today as Principal for a Day. The experience is part of an initiative by KASA (KY Association of School Administrators) It’s designed to give legislators a first-hand look at the great things happening in Kentucky schools every day, and to build stronger partnerships between legislators and public education.
The program lets legislators experience a “regular” school day through the eyes of the principal and other administrators, as they also interact with staff and students.
