Individual painted art blocks create a singular artwork that will soon go on display at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center as part of the Arts in Healing program. The GCHS WIN art enrichment class presented the second in the series today to Hospital Marketing Specialist Andria McGregor.
Grayson County High School recognized several students at the monthly school board meeting on Oct. 12 at GCHS. Taryn Solomon, Desiree Pressley, and Ava Gardner were recognized for their leadership in the Sources of Strength program at the high school.

Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team members Natalie Garrett, Amelia Newton and Alyssa Merrifield. They will continue play at the state level after earning top 10 spots at the Region Five Championship on Monday, Sept. 18.
Garrett and Newton scored a 94, and Merrifield score a 105 at the championship in.

More career exploration! Today in the high-demand heavy equipment operation program at ECTC. Students visited the Elizabethtown campus to learn about the program, safe and efficient operation for a variety of jobs, and experience these mega movers in action.
Surgical simulations in high school? Yes! Our students have so many incredible real-world opportunities available to them. Today health science classes got hands-on experience with laparoscopic surgical simulators thanks to a visit from the Area Health Education Center.
