Operation Grayson Manor Christmas was a huge success for the GCHS Art Club. The club make ornaments as a fund raiser which allowed them to gather supplies for gifts. The group delivered 82 hand-painted bags on Dec. 19, complete with a handmade ornament, Christmas card, scrunchie, word search book, coloring book, crayons, and a puzzle. The club also had two boxes of crafts supplies for the activities area and a box FULL of bath and hygiene items. The Art Club wishes all a Merry Christmas!

Taking the ASVAB does not automatically enlist you in the armed services. Students should sign up with Mrs. Harned, as the ASVAB test will be given on December 8 in the Library, starting at 8:15. The 2nd Annual Winter Formal will be Saturday, December 16 from 7-10pm. Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased the week of December 11 to December 15 during 3rd Period. Virtual students are allowed to attend, but must purchase tickets during 3rd Period. Students with 12 or more unexcused absences will NOT be allowed to attend...get those parent/Dr. notes turned in!! If your date does not attend GCHS, permission forms will become available on Dec. 1. See Mrs. Harned for the form.


BIG weekend for the Marching Cougars at Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indy. 8th in Class AA out of 26 bands, 38th in the country out of 92 bands, AND a Distinguished rating - all on the national level! Congratulations on a well-earned accomplishment!!

Congratulations to Caspian Collard for creating the winning design for the 2024 Cougar Memories Yearbook. Collard's design was chosen by 111/186 students who voted in the contest. Thanks to all the students who submitted a design and to all those who voted on the design.
