Show your teen some love this weekend by spending some one-on-one time together doing simple things. Make a breakfast date, and meet for waffles in the kitchen. Kick up your feet and listen to music together. Or browse through family photos and share memories.

Remind your child to take notes in math class and write down how the teacher got from one step of a problem to the next. If they're unable to follow the explanation from step to step, they should speak up before the teacher moves on.

Is your teen a techie? Suggest that they take an online class to learn a new technology skill. Perhaps they could learn to build a website, design a mobile app, or write a computer program. These skills would carry forward into their career. #GCMSOpportunity
