GCHS DECA Region 2 competitors with trophies on stage

GCHS DECA had multiple chapter, team, and individual successes at the Region 2 DECA conference at WKU. 

Tate Cain was elected  VP of Membership for the region. Hayden Bradley was selected Outstanding DECA Member. Coleman Bryant was named the WKU $500 Scholarship recipient.

The chapter earned 1st Place in the Largest Chapter Membership Increase category and 2nd Place in the Largest Chapter Overall.

Individual and team results included:

Piper Mangan, Business Services Operation Research Event; Landon Lowrey, Daniel Ratley, Innovation Plan; Kaylee Hodges, Apparel & Accessories Marketing Series; Coleman Bryant, Automotive Services Marketing Series, Houston Brooks, Business Finance Series; Tate Cain, Career Development Project; Hayden Bradley, Amelia Hayes, Raylee Shepherd, Sales Project; Will Johnston, Connor Lee, Business Law & Ethics Team Decision Making; Layla Lacefield, Gracie Mudd, Hospitality Services Team Decision Making, all first place. 

Second place finishes included Katie Morgan, Entrepreneurship Series; Emilee Hall, Marketing Communication Series; Jillian Pierce, Maggie Shepherd, Community Giving Project; and Carter Bernard took third place in Principles of Hospitality.
