GCHS Family & Consumer Science will be cooking up something new thanks to grants from the KY Beef Council and Stuff the Bus Foundation of Southern KY. Awards will purchase updated, industry-grade cookware for for students to gain real-world experience in a variety of cooking methods.

Meals on the Bus will run next Tues - Fri, 11/10 - 11/13 for NTI students, with no changes to previous stops. Monday meals (Nov. 9) may be picked up at each school between 11 am - 12 noon. The Technology Center has received a $1,000 grant from TVA to purchase a new 3D printer for the school’s Computer Science pathway, just launched this year. Real-world skills and career training opportunities provided by the Grayson County Technology Center continue to grow thanks to a generous $5K grant to the CMM (machining) Program from the Gene Haas Foundation of Haas Automation. Funding will expand NIMS industry certifications and provide scholarships for continued education and training.
